Living Faith

We're challenged to embrace a 'living faith' that transforms our daily lives. The key scripture, John 18:36, reminds us that Jesus' kingdom is not of this world, setting the stage for how we should approach our faith journey. We're called to cultivate our hearts, making them good ground for God's Word to take root and flourish. This cultivation involves counting the cost, dying to self daily, and walking in the Spirit rather than the flesh. The parallel drawn between tending a garden and nurturing our spiritual lives beautifully illustrates the intentional effort required in our faith walk. As we cultivate our hearts, we're encouraged to develop a generous spirit and maintain an expectant attitude, believing that God will fulfill His promises in our lives. This message urges us to move beyond a passive, 'heaven-only' faith to an active, transformative faith that impacts our present reality.
